Saber throw is used to finish people off because its a useless power in any other scenario, put 3 points in saber defense and it deflects the saber automatically. If you downloaded the game now you would see that all servers run the vannila MP version ( btw its tricky too find that version if you want to download it, but its avalable for sure). Noone who plays te game 2+ years even plays those versions, I dont even know why you would put your self through that torture. #28 Both released patches ruined the game drastically and people playing on those versions play no force all the time cos force is unplayable. Like force push away fake high jump to mid jump rolling away etc. Not so fun imoĪnd wallhack was very abusive for those who tried to play legit, didn't add any depth and skill to the "scene" I was playing in It actually took away alot of skill and depth cuz you couldnt trick your opponent with a roll around the corner and quick blue saber style duck attack, or simply try to run away by juking and tricking your opponent. Couldn't block it since it hit a blind spot every time. ![]() I played patch 1.4 JK2 with Force on, meaning that with aimbot, every saber throw hit. Its like force seeing only it doesnt require you to push a button every now and then.Īimbots on the other hand are anoying but dont help that much to a player using them if you are better then him, you are still going to win vs him evey time. I know it sounds stupid but wallhack also brought a lot of depth and skill to the game. Wallhack is part of the game Everyone has it, cant play without it. Would this mean that force jump was disabled as well? Since afaik a certain level of jump was necessary for certain moves. So yeah, except for the rare full-force fun tournament on the ESL, it was quite a no-go - which is great, if you ask me, because sabering is fantastic. The reason for this can be easily inferred from your own observations: Force is a terribly imbalanced, unrefined and quite frankly boring aspect of the game. The thing is that all competitive play, with minor exceptions, was done without force settings and with only the saber enabled. Yeah the competitive scene used to be quite vibrant, mostly centered around the ESL, but it also had a very vibrant American branch with the BWN league (not sure if that one exists anymore though, been a while). ![]() ![]() Thanks for your awesome reply though! The battles on those videos look intense! Well, we couldn't work out a way anyway, so we stopped playing. On J08:07 DRTnOOber wow! That's amazing, I had no idea there was a competitive multiplayer community around this game! I admit that a friend and I did play quite a few 1v1 battles but one of us worked out that if you jumped backwards casting drain and force lightning alternately, you just couldn't be beaten.
